Math-U-See is the program I use for math, and it’s been an incredible resource for our homeschooling. We also have a private tutor, a retired high school math teacher, helps us. He’s very friendly, and he’s helped my children understand math concepts better. He uses a bit old school techniques but we’re ok with that. When it comes to science, we take an interest-led approach. Instead of using a traditional science curriculum, we let my twins explore topics they’re interested in. I try to find nice documentaries and we also use Youtube a lot. We move in and out of science topics throughout the school year, and we let our children ask questions and find resources. This approach has allowed my children to learn in a way that is meaningful to them, and it’s helped them develop a love for learning.Partnering with Children
